2024 Maschio Gaspardo Tigre 250

TIGRE is a versatile offset mulcher for grass and woody material up to 4.7 in. Featuring impressive operating capabilities, TIGRE can be used in a whole host of situations, such as on row crops, cover-cropped land and stubble, proving the ideal machine for large businesses and contractors. TIGRE comes in working widths ranging from 6.9 to 9.8 ft and is designed to work with tractors with a horsepower of up to 140 HP.

The cutting chamber on TIGRE features a double-skinned construction (0.16 + 0.16 in) and has an electronically balanced rotor measuring 7.6 inch in diameter and 0.4 in thick. The tools - hammer flails or blades - are arranged in 4 rows at 90 degrees, resulting in a rugged design and wear resistance. The two toothed counter blades allow the machine to mulch even the more voluminous residues and thicker branches into fine pieces. The body is reinforced with the addition of a sheet metal internal housing for extra strength.

Providing even more practical use while on the job, TIGRE can also be ordered with hydraulic offset. This allows the operator to control offset positioning without leaving the tractor's cab. The side shift system on wheels keeps the implement parallel to the ground at all times.

To cater to the requirements of demanding operators who often find themselves working on stony ground, there is the option of a rotor with tools fitted in a spiral arrangement on damage-prevention mounts.

The rotors on MASCHIO mulchers are balanced electronically in order to provide the hammer flails with a high speed of rotation whatever the work condition, low vibrations and reduced power requirements. This means the machine has a longer service life.

Drive belts can be tensioned simply and easily by means of a practical external screw system. All implements are fitted with toothed belts that, unlike plain belts, prove more effective and offer greater performance.

MASCHIO mulchers feature bearings comprising two rows of balls, which provide excellent impact resistance and allow them to withstand heavy workloads. Main advantages: long lifespan (30% longer than traditional bearings), high resistance and load capacity, and low maintenance.

For a finer mulch, the machine comes with dual toothed counter blades - both lower and upper - welded to the internal structure.

For finer mulching of the residue, TIGRE can be accessorized with adjustable collecting rakes. Residue is retained under the hood, allowing it to be broken down further to a given size.

The "shark fin" design of the mounts stops the rotor being damaged when the tools collide with stones or debris.
