FURBA is an offset mulcher for cutting grass and woody material up to 0.8 inch in diameter. Designed for professional use, it comes in working widths ranging from 3.3 to 5.9 ft for tractors in the 10 to 40 horsepower range.

FURBA is synonymous with professional machinery thanks to its electronic balancing of the rotors, toothed belt side drive and front gearbox with 540rpm PTO with freewheel. FURBA is also suited for working with the tractor in reverse, simply turning the central box round in a few short steps. The PTO shaft comes as standard.

FURBA can also be rear mounted on reverse-drive tractors. This pairing allows you to get the most out of the equipment. The implement can also be ordered with the 1000rpm front gearbox for front mounting on the tractor and hydraulically operated offset.

The rotors on MASCHIO mulchers are balanced electronically in order to provide the hammer flails with a high speed of rotation whatever the work condition, low vibrations and reduced power requirements. This means the machine has a longer service life.

Drive belts can be tensioned simply and easily by means of a practical external screw system. All implements are fitted with toothed belts that, unlike plain belts, prove more effective and offer greater performance.

MASCHIO mulchers feature bearings comprising two rows of balls, which provide excellent impact resistance and allow them to withstand heavy workloads. Main advantages: long lifespan (30% longer than traditional bearings), high resistance and load capacity, and low maintenance.

With the option of turning the linkage mounting and gearbox 180°, BIRBA can be paired with reverse-drive tractors.

The mulcher can also be ordered with the 1000rpm front/rear gearbox, which allows the implement to be hooked up to the front or rear of the tractor.
