DELTA is MASCHIO GASPARDO's HEAVY DUTY folding rear-mounted flail mower designed for contractors and large farms requiring high daily productivity and low maintenance.The machine is equipped with two side flail mowers and can be combined with the front flail mower BUFALO 280, for a total working width of up to 27.2 ft and a safe road transport of 3 metres. It is high-end equipment that can be combined with tractors of up to 400 HP.

The HEAVY DUTY shredding chamber is equipped with a double layer of reinforced sheet metal for optimal protection against wear and impact, facilitating the shredding of even large-diameter wood residues.

High-quality and homogenous shredding thanks to the 8.6' rotor with a cutting diameter of 18.3' and a 6-row helical arrangement of the elements with anti-damage drop supports. In combination, a double row of counter-knives arranged inside the cutting chamber helps to increase shredding.

The machine is designed for tractors from 200 to 400 HP. The DELTA is equipped with two lateral flail mowers, connected via a rear PTO with a rotation speed of 1000 rpm, and can be combined with a BUFALO 280 front flail mower. This solution therefore allows a total working width of up to 27.2 ft. Thanks to the folding frame, the road transport width becomes 9.8 ft.

DELTA is designed to satisfy all those who require high productivity for the care of pastures, uncultivated land, grassy areas, as well as the shredding of crop residues and maize stubble. It allows the management of a large area in a single pass, with a significant reduction in operating time and costs, while maintaining high reliability.

The hydraulic floating system of the flail bodies allows great versatility. With a total travel range of 13.1 ft, the two bodies can independently adapt to all types of terrain, especially uneven terrain, regardless of the amount of residue to be chopped or the unevenness of the ground.

Maintenance and greasing is faster and safer with the new sheet metal casing and double grease nipple crusts, replacing the classic plastic protection.

DELTA is available with high-strength (5+5) and long-life belts with external tensioning.
