BUFALO is a reversible offset mulcher with a HEAVY-DUTY construction for the intensive shredding of thick residues and for dealing with uncultivated ground, with working widths ranging from 8.2 to 10.2 ft, designed to work with tractors with horsepower in the 100 to 200 range.

The range of MASCHIO GASPARDO reversible mulchers stands out for its great reliability and versatility given the option of using the same implement mounted on the front or rear equally efficiently.

Raw strength also comes courtesy of the double-skinned frame, and double linkage mounting with front/rear gearbox with a speed of 1,000 rpm, which allows for fast configuration changeover.

BUFALO offers lasting reliability, in part due to its electronically balanced rotor and toothed belt drive. With a working width of up to 9.8 ft, it delivers high work rates (ha/h). The rotor with tools fitted in a spiral arrangement on damage-prevention supports means the machine can even be operated on stony ground. This, together with the toothed counter blades - which come as standard and are welded inside the cutting chamber - ensures perfect mulching.

BUFALO can be accessorised with powerful spotlights that can help illuminate the work area and stand in for the tractor's headlights during transport if they are hidden by the implement. Cameras complete with 7" screen help make the road in front of the tractor more visible when travelling on the road.

The rotors on MASCHIO mulchers are balanced electronically in order to provide the hammer flails with a high speed of rotation whatever the work condition, low vibrations and reduced power requirements. This means the machine has a longer service life.

Drive belts can be tensioned simply and easily by means of a practical external screw system. All implements are fitted with toothed belts that, unlike plain belts, prove more effective and offer greater performance.

MASCHIO mulchers feature bearings comprising two rows of balls, which provide excellent impact resistance and allow them to withstand heavy workloads. Main advantages: long lifespan (30% longer than traditional bearings), high resistance and load capacity, and low maintenance.

For a finer mulch, the machine comes with dual toothed counter blades - both lower and upper - welded to the internal structure.

Double three-point linkage mounting, with front and rear gearbox for super-fast configuration changeover. The PTO gearbox has a top speed of 1,000 rpm.

The "shark fin" design of the supports stops the rotor being damaged when the tools collide with stones or debris.
