2024 Maschio Gaspardo Brava L 250F

BRAVA is a mulcher for grass and woody material up to 2.4 inches in diameter. BRAVA is ideal for intensive mulching on grass, uncultivated ground, fields with a wealth of crop residue or vineyards, orchards and olive groves for pruning and grass management.

It comes in two versions - fixed (F) and offset (S) - and in widths up to 8.2 ft, and is designed to work with tractors with a horsepower of up to 80 HP.

BRAVA is a professional mulcher, while still compact in size. The rotor is balanced electronically. The toothed belt side drive includes a manual tensioning device, the 540rpm gearbox includes a freewheel, and the self-cleaning rear roller has hub caps that can be removed for inspection purposes. The implement comes with the PTO shaft.

The rear roller can be adjusted to a position on the inside or outside of the cutting chamber, for optimal residue management based on different requirements.

Providing even more practical use while on the job, BRAVA also comes with hydraulic offset (not an option on the fixed version), meaning the operator can control offset positioning without leaving the tractor's cab. With the solution adopted, the linkage mounting slides across on rollers, which keeps it parallel to the ground at all times.

BRAVA and BRAVA L - which is the extended version with a cutting width up to 8.2 ft - feature a toothed lower counter blade welded to the internal housing inside the hood: this system ensures more effective mulching.

The rotors on MASCHIO mulchers are balanced electronically in order to provide the hammer flails with a high speed of rotation whatever the work condition, low vibrations and reduced power requirements. This means the machine has a longer service life.

The rotors are designed to improve mulching efficiency and minimize vibrations and power draw. The design of the tools in 8 rows in a helical arrangement creates a more consistent power draw. The anti-collision rotor prevents damage of any kind in the event the tools are hit by stones or debris.

Drive belts can be tensioned simply and easily by means of a practical external screw system. All implements are fitted with toothed belts that, unlike plain belts, prove more effective and offer greater performance.

MASCHIO mulchers feature bearings comprising two rows of balls, which provide excellent impact resistance and allow them to withstand heavy workloads. Main advantages: long lifespan (30% longer than traditional bearings), high resistance and load capacity, and low maintenance.

For a finer mulch, the machine comes with a toothed lower counter blade welded to the internal structure.
