2024 Teagle Tomahawk 8555

The most versatile model in the Tomahawk range, now with removable screen and an automatic chain lubrication system.

Now you can also process clamp and baled silage with the Tomahawk 8555.

Time and fuel can be saved by processing straw prior to it being added to the ration in a diet feeder, 66,000 chops per minute offers fast and consistent performance.

Pre-process straw so that the diet feeder does not need to mix for as long, thereby reducing the problem of over processing the silage in the ration.

Chopping down to an average of 2" with clean cut ends, means you can achieve the ideal material for feeding to create effective rumen stimulation and increased milk yields.

The surface area of the new removable screen has been increased by 20% from its predecessor, the 8550, for increased output and efficiency.

An indicator confirms the movement of the bed chain. The hydraulic motor driving the bed chain is not vulnerable to damage.

Wear resistant steel is found throughout the fan housing and discharge chute components.

All Tomahawk models feature a high specification gearbox, with high/low fan speed gear preselection.

For driveline protection a slip clutch is fitted as standard on the Walterscheid PTO shaft.

The new 8555 incorporates an electronically controlled, automatic lubrication system for the crossbeater drive chain.

All models in the 8500 range feature a wide bale chamber, wide crossbeater and large diameter fan. This makes loading easier and increases both processing speed and spreading distance.

Bed chain, crossbeater, fan and chute components are tried and tested in all models in the Tomahawk range.

12mm heavy duty bed chain, resulting in less tensioning adjustments. The chain does not have anything welded to it, which would lower its strength.

Load bales without returning to the tractor cab, ideal when removing netting or wrap.

Tailgate is flared for easy loading and is supported by two hydraulic rams to enable the heaviest of bales to be loaded.
