A wider body for greater capacity and easier loading of 5ft wide bales. Industrial grade durability is provided by wear resistant material in the fan housing.

• Straw is lightly shredded improving moisture absorbance and livestock comfort, as the straw is not chopped the bed retains it's structure and provides an hygienic environment.

Silage that is lightly shredded with a Tomahawk 8500 is more palatable and easily consumed.

Rear

Hydraulic valve can take up to 16 US Gallons/minute, resulting in less heating of the oil, faster response to the controls and more power being delivered to the Tomahawk.

Chain drive to crossbeater ensures reliable transmission of maximum power.

The fan has 8 paddles, 9" width from 6mm steel. Rotor diameter

12mm heavy duty bed chain, resulting in less tensioning adjustments. The chain does not have anything welded to it, which would lower its strength.

Remote control tailgate & bed chain switch, to make loading easier.

Tailgate is flared for easy loading and is supported by two hydraulic rams to enable the heaviest of bales to be loaded.

The Rear Door has two hydraulic cyliners to reduce stress on the chassis. The Tomahawk has an underfloor panel fitted; useful for maintenance.
